Morning Flight

Still working on all those wonderful Bald Eagle photos that Matt took last year.  We are so looking forward to going back up there in November to take more photos and enjoy teaching others during our photography workshop there.

MORNING FLIGHT - October 22, 2010 - Haines, Alaska
JOURNALING: This image is my favorite of all the Bald Eagle photos taken in Haines, Alaska. What a beautiful morning flight.

PHOTOS: Bald Eagle images by Shetzers Photography at http://www.shetzers.com

SUPPLIES USED: K&Company Alleghany Plum and Poppy Seed Shimmer patterned paper, Sketch by Sketchy Thursday's for April GDT, American Crafts stamp markers & precision pen, Hero Arts Travel Frames stamp, EK Success Corner Rounder, Hampton Art Borders stamp, Studio G Chalk ink, Ranger's Liquid Pearls, Ranger Crackle Accents, JudiKins Diamond Glaze, Font - Brush Script MT

TECHNIQUES:  A couple of unique techniques on this layout.  I used Studio G's white chalk ink to stamp the border under the photography and then embellished the stamp dots by using Ranger's Liquid Pearls to give some dimension to the stamp.  I also tried the American Crafts stamp markers for the first time and created a dual tone stamp for my journaling (brown & blue).
